ECONYL® regenerated nylon offers a premium and responsible solution for properties looking to elevate their interiors. Designed to withstand high-traffic environments, this exceptionally resilient nylon is made entirely from pre- and post-consumer waste. Through a proprietary chemical recycling process, nylon waste is transformed into a high-quality ingredient. The result is a regenerated material that matches the quality and feel of traditional nylon but with a lower environmental impact.

Bridging the Gap

Choosing products made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon means taking part in environmental stewardship. For every 10,000 tonnes of ECONYL® nylon produced, 70,000 barrels of crude oil is saved when compared to traditional nylon production. What’s more, ECONYL® regenerated nylon can be re-recycled, infinitely. This means that at the end of its life, old, used nylon can be regenerated again and again without ever losing its original properties.

As a recycled and recyclable ingredient, ECONYL® regenerated nylon can support your sustainability goals. It is Material Health 4.0 v C2C® certified, contributes to LEED, BREEAM and WELL credits, and has a verified Environmental Product Declaration. Taking eco-design a step further, a new “Born R2R®” program (Regenerated to be Regenerable) by Aquafil offers a responsible end-of-life solution by inviting manufacturers to co-create carpets.
