Alcarol was founded by Andrea Forti & Eleonora Dal Farra, an experimental design duo who researches and focuses on the story and intrinsic features of the environment and physical substances, combining avant-garde and innovative techniques with the handed-down experience of raw materials processing.

Alcarol launched the Ocean Networks Collection to represent one of the main problems submerged in our oceans: ghost nets. By melting colorful fishing nets with ECONYL® nylon, Alcarol created a surprising marbled effect that dramatically replicates nets tangled in coral and seabeds. The collection includes tabletops, a suspension lamp and elegant room dividers providing an abstract reflection of the fragile conditions of our oceans.
