Sarawagi is a pioneer in the art of rug-making with a reputation as a versatile designer, innovative manufacturer, and a leading exporter of hand-knotted Nepalese rugs. In collaboration with Isobel Morris, a British rug and textiles designer, Sarawagi created the first Nepalese handknotted rug made with ECONYL® nylon. The handknotted rug was designed with beautiful coastal marine colors to depict iconic imagery from the ocean, to capture the way the ocean moves and how humanity has a strong impact on nature.
