Milan Fashion Week 2024 brought a truly revolutionary project to the catwalk, presenting an R2R carpet made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon. The innovative walkway was created by CC-Tapis, a leading producer of interior solutions, in collaboration with Sunnei.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the carpet was the centerpiece of Sunnei’s Fashion Week 24 show, symbolizing a commitment to circularity in design and fashion. Made in Milan, the work exemplifies conscious practices, showcasing precision and quality in its production.

For this production, CC-Tapis used regenerated ECONYL® yarn together with the robotufting technique. What distinguishes this initiative is its integration into Aquafil’s R2R project. This collaboration marks progress towards a responsible future, ensuring that at the end of its use, the carpet can be fully recycled, and the ECONYL® nylon regenerated into brand-new yarn.
