The first luxury brand to use ECONYL® recycled nylon in ready-to-wear collections. In order to maximize the benefits of using this innovative material in ready-to-wear collections, Gucci has launched, in collaboration with its suppliers, the “ECONYL®-GUCCI PRE CONSUMER FABRIC TAKE BACK PROGRAM” initiative which consists in recovering ECONYL® recycled nylon waste from the production of GUCCI products and transform it into a new high-quality thread. Gucci was the first luxury brand to implement this program starting from September 2018.
