DUO Carpet: A Game-Changer in Recyclable Design

In response to these challenges, OBJECT CARPET, using ECONYL® regenerated yarn, has developed the DUO carpet. A carpet crafted from just two materials: polyester and ECONYL® regenerated yarn. This simplification is made possible by an innovative HOTMELT adhesive that facilitates the separation of these materials through a CLICK/UNCLICK technology.

• R2R Project: The R2R (Regenerated to be Regenerable) labelby Aquafil ensures that DUO is designed with recyclability in mind. This label signifies that the carpet is mainly made from ECONYL® yarn and is designed for easy separation and reintegration into the production cycle, promoting a circular economy.
